Studio Mera was founded in Bali, Indonesia, with the mission of empowering women. Encouraging them to love their bodies. Encouraging them to empower each other.
A declaration of love to yourself, and the women around you. Through the garments we have created with love, we hope to illuminate the beauty in your uniqueness, and support women globally to live more empowered lives. With each purchase, we donate to one of three carefully selected organisations that work with women across the world, to live more fulfilled lives.

BUMI SEHAT
Yayasan Bumi Sehat was founded in 1995 as a not-for-profit organization, based in Bali, Indonesia. ‘Yaysan’ means not-for-profit, ‘Bumi’ means earth-mother, and ‘sehat’ translates as healthy. Thus they are the healthy Mother Earth foundation.
They operate three Community Health and Education and Childbirth Centers within Indonesia, and are close to our hearts, as Indonesia is Studio Mera’s place of birth.
At their clinics, they offer a comprehensive range of allopathic and holistic medicine, as well as pre and post-natal care, breastfeeding support, infant, child and family health services, nutritional education, pre-natal yoga and gentle, loving natural birth services.
FRIENDSHIP BRIDGE
Offering financial resources to poverty-stricken areas of Guatemala, Friendship Bridge offers opportunities for education and entrepreneurial training that would otherwise be unavailable. By offering microcredit loans, women collaborate with other members of a "trust" and take part in educational sessions as part of the terms of the loan. By combining capital with resources, Friendship Bridge is able to facilitate better working conditions for the population.
MADRE
Following wars or natural disasters, MADRE teams with local community leaders to create solutions. When resources are scarce, the organization brings in the tools necessary for women to help rebuild. In Kenya, that can mean clean water; in Colombia, it could mean art therapy for survivors of war or abuse.
